MARINE UNDERWRITER
For this position we are looking for professionals with at least 3 years of expereince in pricing and/or underwriting at a broker or insurance company, preferably in marine products . This position is based in our Headquarters in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Responsibilities:
- Offer coverage, terms and conditions which generate a profit for the company while
meeting the needs of the customer. - Identify risk exposures, special or common hazards, and appropriate controls.
- Select risk based on exposure and risk analysis.
- Analyze claims and quantify losses.
- Review trends and opportunities for underwriting actions and improvements.
- Understand and effectively communicate BARBUSS value proposition and culture.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of; experience pricing and/or underwriting at an insurer or
broker, preferably in marine products. - Advanced understanding of Marine insurance.
- Possesses demonstrated product and industry technical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to adapt to a start-up pace environment and culture.
- Fluent English (oral and written).
This position requires the candidate to be extremely oriented towards achieving goals, at a fast pace, dynamic, proactive, teamwork, and flexible to adapt to evolving scenarios.
