BARBUSS Acquired The Operation Of Aseguradores De Cauciones In Uruguay

Montevideo, December 15, 2022Last December 2, the regulator, Banco Central del Uruguay authorized the acquisition of Aseguradores de Cauciones in Uruguay by BARBUSS. This means the expansion of BARBUSS’ services for the industry and its clients, and reflects its constant growth and commitment in more than 20 years of experience.
BARBUSS is a company that provides financial, claims management and consulting services specifically designed to assist the risk transfer industry. BARBUSS has a global network of experienced professionals working across regions and markets in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. The company develops innovative solutions through different business lines: Claims Services, Management Services & Consulting.
This acquisition will enhance both structures and further improve existing services for its clients, especially in the local and Latin American markets. The company name Aseguradores de Cauciones S.A. (Uruguay) is in the process of being modified and registered to become BOTTIAS Seguros (Uruguay) S.A.
Diego Nemirovsky, appointed Manager of BOTTIAS Seguros (Uruguay) S.A. has stated, “We believe this transaction enhances our ability to offer better products and services, as well as provide new opportunities for our clients, partners, employees and other key stakeholders.”
The seller, Aseguradores de Cauciones will concentrate its operations in Argentina with an exclusive focus on surety insurance, focusing on its development and growth. This sale is a strategic decision for the seller, and represents a capital reinforcement that will collaborate in the achievement of these objectives and in the long-term plans of the seller, a pioneer in surety insurance in Argentina with more than 50 years of experience.
