SALES SPECIALIST

For this position, we are seeking dynamic and proactive Technical/Commercial Sales Representative with proven experience in sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling marine cargo insurance specifically tailored for perishable cargo. This role requires a deep understanding of the marine cargo and insurance industries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsabilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell marine cargo insurance for perishable cargo to prospective clients.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the marine cargo industry, focusing on clients with perishable cargo needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance products and services to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to effectively position our insurance offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process and beyond.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or cargo related field.
  • Deep understanding of the marine cargo, logistic, fresh-produce or insurance industries.
  • Technical knowledge of marine cargo insurance, particularly in the context of perishable cargo would be valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, international trade, or a related field preferred.
  • Fluent English (oral and written).
