SALES SPECIALIST
For this position, we are seeking dynamic and proactive Technical/Commercial Sales Representative with proven experience in sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling marine cargo insurance specifically tailored for perishable cargo. This role requires a deep understanding of the marine cargo and insurance industries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell marine cargo insurance for perishable cargo to prospective clients.

Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the marine cargo industry, focusing on clients with perishable cargo needs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored insurance solutions.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of insurance products and services to clients.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to effectively position our insurance offerings.

Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to close deals and meet sales targets.

Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process and beyond.
Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or cargo related field.

Deep understanding of the marine cargo, logistic, fresh-produce or insurance industries.

Technical knowledge of marine cargo insurance, particularly in the context of perishable cargo would be valued.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, international trade, or a related field preferred.

Fluent English (oral and written).
