BARBUSS Announces Acquisition of HDI Seguros in Argentina and Uruguay
Buenos Aires, Montevideo, August 6, 2025 – BARBUSS, a global company with over two decades of experience in the risk industry, announces the acquisition of HDI Seguros’ operations in Argentina and Uruguay. Both companies are now owned by BARBUSS, with the exception of a 10% stake in HDI Seguros Uruguay that remains the property of Talanx AG. The closing of this part of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory procedures, is expected to occur in 2025.

Buenos Aires, Montevideo, 6 de agosto de 2025 – BARBUSS, compañía global con más de dos décadas de experiencia en la industria del riesgo, anuncia la adquisición de las operaciones de HDI Seguros en Argentina y Uruguay. Ambas compañías pasan a ser propiedad de BARBUSS, a excepción de una porción del 10% de HDI Seguros Uruguay que aún pertenece a Talanx AG. Se espera que el cierre de esta parte de la transacción, que está sujeta a procedimientos regulatorios, ocurra en 2025.
